What was once known for its Dwarven industrial prowess, Khazad-dûm is now occupied by a putrid darkness and goes by the name Moria or "The Black Chasm" as its known by the Elves. The fires that once kept the furnaces burning have been extinguished, replaced by flames of a vast magnitude that defy one's thoughts of unimaginable destruction. The mithril mines lay quiet in shadow. What now remains is a tomb. The Lord of Moria.
